FWW CHALLENGE - TREADMILL 10X10
I have seen a few variations of this test but my favourite is the test legendary strength Coach Michael Boyle uses with his athletes.
The test is a great mix of endurance and lower body power and is deceptively difficult.
Equipment – Treadmill
Aim – To run as long as you can
Technique – warm up thoroughly as you will be running at max sustained effort. If inexperienced use the safety stop cord feature.
Set the treadmill at 10 incline and 10 mph (16.1kph). Let the machine get to the incline and speed before starting. Keeping hold of the rails wait for either your timekeeper to say start or use the timer in the machine.
Run for as long as you can!
Rookie: Under 1 minute
Pro: 1-2 minutes
All-Star: More than 2 minutes
