FWW CHALLENGE - ALTERNATE BALL TOSS

Matt - Functional Warrior Workouts

This is a recognised method of catching and throwing ability popular with athletic coaches that focus in training co-ordination and catching and throwing skills.


Equipment: A tennis ball and a hard wall. Time keeper.


Aim: To test your ability to throw and catch from a set distance with a set time limit.


Technique: Stand roughly 1m to 2m away from a wall. On the go command toss the ball underarm from your left hand against the wall and catch in the opposite. Repeat this in reverse, right to left. The time limit is 30 seconds. Count to total amount of throws/catches complete within the time limit.
